About this tool & methodology

This is a citizen observation instrument built for the Sights & Sounds of Renewed Hope platform. It mirrors the structure used by accredited observation missions: observers are deployed to polling units, record standardised data (turnout, opening time, materials, conduct, results), and the data aggregates upward — polling unit → ward → LGA → state → national.

Data note: The 36 states + FCT and all 774 LGAs are real. Wards and polling units are generated sample data, clearly labelled, so the full drill-down works end-to-end today. To go live, replace the ward/unit generator with the official INEC register — the rest of the tool needs no changes.

Non-partisan: This tool records and aggregates observations transparently. It does not declare winners; it surfaces what observers see and hear, consistent with the Group's constitution.
